Our story
For more than 55 years, Avon City Paint & Panel has been repairing vehicles for Canterbury drivers, businesses and insurers.
Over that time, vehicles, technology and repair methods have changed considerably, but our approach hasn't. Do the job properly, take pride in the workmanship, and look after the customer from start to finish.
Today, our experienced team handles everything from minor dents and paintwork to major collision repairs across cars, light commercial vehicles and fleets.
Based at the Avon City Supersite in Christchurch, we combine decades of hands-on experience with modern repair capabilities to get vehicles looking right, repaired right, and safely back on the road.

Peter Calvert
Peter has been part of Avon City Paint & Panel for an impressive 27 years. Starting out on the tools, he worked his way through the business and now leads the Paint & Panel team. With hands-on experience behind him and decades in the industry, Peter knows the repair process from the workshop floor up.
Dave Gaze
Dave has been with Avon City Paint & Panel for 24 years and brings a wealth of practical knowledge and experience to the workshop. As Paint & Panel Supervisor, Dave helps keep the team and jobs moving, making sure every repair meets the high standard our customers expect.
Kat Clough
Kat is the administrative superstar behind Avon City Paint & Panel. She's been part of the team for three years and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, helping customers through the process and keeping the workshop organised.
